AMENDMENT ONE

The First Amendment says citizens of the United States have the freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and petition. Which means you cannot be punished for these things (unless it includes harming others and their freedom).
AMENDMENT TWO

The Second Amendment says anyone in the United states can have a weapon such as a gun. Anyone with a weapon can only use it for self defense and if someone gets hurt you will be liable.
AMENDMENT THREE

The Third Amendment says people cannot be forced to host soldier. This is because Britain once made the people of the U.S feed and house the Britain soldiers.
AMENDMENT FOUR

The Fourth Amendment says people have the right to privacy, which means that law enforcers can't search homes (unless given a warrant). If law enforcers are given a warrant, they can only get a warrant if that person is thought to be a criminal.
AMENDMENT FIVE

The Fifth Amendment talks about the court, if you are convicted as a criminal you can stay silent when questioned. Also, you may not be convicted of the same crime (but if you do the same crime twice it is classified as a different crime and you can be convicted of that crime).
AMENDMENT SIX

The Sixth Amendment says a person has the right to a fair court trail. That means if you are guilty of a crime you will be able to have a court trail to prove your innocents ( if your are ).
AMENDMENT SEVEN

The Seventh Amendment says that (depending on the crime) you can have a trail by jury instead of judge. Jury trail is when a trail of citizens can hear your case and find if your guilty or not.
AMENDMENT EIGHT

The Eighth Amendment says for any crime you commit the judge can't give you an unreasonable bail amount or a cruel or an unusual punishment. For example if you steal a candy bar you cannot be finned a eight thousand dollar fine.
AMENDMENT NINE

The Ninth Amendment says that even if some of your rights and laws aren't written down you still have them. For example if there wasn't a no stealing rule you should know that stealing is wrong and not steal.
AMENDMENT TEN.

The Tenth Amendment says that all power that isn't given to the government is given to the state. So if the state was not given the rule of taxing the people would (if they find it necessary) have the power to tax.
