The U.S Constitution was written in the 18th century so that the founding fathers could establish a federal government instead of a central government for the U.S and to give federal government limited power.
Article 1

Article one says that the Legislative branch is called the congress and is also the third branch. The congress has a bicameral house (two party house). those two houses are called the house of Representatives and the Senate.
Article 2

The second article is called the Executive branch, it says that the president, vice-president, and anything lower in the executive branch must do what congress say. They must do what congress say because congress has citizens of the United states best interest because congress are made up of the citizens.
Article 3

The third article is called is called the Executive branch too but it talks about the rules of what can you do and not do if you're apart of the Executive branch. The court system decides criminal behavior consequences according to the law, it can't be anything personal against the law enforcer and the criminal.
Article 4

Article four is called state powers, it says that states have the power to make their own laws. state laws must help their state problems.

Article five says that the Constitution can be changed. As in, amendments can be added with the approval of three sixth of the country.

Article six is called the federal law, it says the countries and constitution's laws are more important then the state laws. Also, that if you do make your own state law it can't threaten other's rights or do anything that appose country law.

Article seven is called Ratification, Ratification means to approve. It also says explains how the constitution was ratified.
